Golf
Can you book our tee times?
Yes, we will liaise with the appropriate golf clubs in order to secure tee times as close as possible to your preferred choice.
What happens if adverse weather means we can't play?
On certain occasions golf clubs may close their courses at their discretion due to adverse weather conditions. Although we will do our very best to negotiate a revised tee time or a refund on your green fees, this will be at the sole discretion of the golf club in question, therefore we cannot make any guarantees. For this reason we strongly recommend that you purchase suitable Golfer's Travel Insurance which covers golf course closure.
Do we need a voucher or booking confirmation to get on the golf course?
Yes, prior to your trip we will provide you with a voucher to take with you on the day.
Accommodation
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in and check-out will vary depending on your accommodation provider, but typically check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 11am. Early check-in and late check-out may be available at the discretion of your accommodation provider and we suggest you contact them directly if you have specific requirements.
Can our booking include non-golfers?
Of-course, however the lead golfer will still remain responsible for all party members when it comes to accommodation and transport provided by us.
Can you arrange evening meals at our accommodation?
Depending on your accommodation type, evening meals may be an option and meals may also be available at your chosen golf clubs (usually by prior arrangement). We can also recommend various restaurants in the local area to suit all party sizes and budgets.
Travel
Can you arrange our flights?
At this time, we are unable to book flights on your behalf. This allows us to offer a truly flexible and impartial service when it comes to golf and accommodation options.
Are transfers included in our golf break?
Transfers can be provided as part of your package, whether it be to and from the airport or between your accommodation and your chosen golf courses. Please mention this when booking and we will confirm pricing and availability.
Can you organise car hire?
Whether it be a small car or a minibus for the whole group, we can arrange a self-drive vehicle via one of our trusted partners. Please mention this when booking and we will confirm pricing and availability.
Bookings and Payments
How much is our deposit?
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This can be paid securely by debit or credit card.
How long before we travel does the final balance need to be paid?
The full balance of your trip will be due no later than 8 weeks prior to your check-in date. Bookings made within 8 weeks of travel will require full payment upon booking.
Can we make cancel or make amendments to our booking?
Party numbers can be amended at any time, subject to availability at your chosen golf courses and accommodation. Additional passengers will be charged the current rates at the point of amendment, which may be more or less than the rates at the time of the original booking.
Full cancellation, or cancellation of individual party members, will need to be communicated to us by the lead passenger in writing or by e-mail. Any monies paid to Coastal Golf Travel up to the point of cancellation for the passengers in question will be lost.
